Biography

Edwin is a Principal Analyst with the Supply Chain and Technology Group IHS Markit, which he joined with nearly 10 years of diverse experiences in the military, materials testing, and vehicle performance engineering. He is responsible for developing Automotive Materials and Lightweighting practices. He specializes in forecasting the automotive materials market through a cross-functional analysis of the entire vehicle lifecycle.

Edwin's analytical expertise includes material usage and manufacturing techniques in body structures, chassis, and propulsion systems. He closely follows trends in 3D Printing, alternative fuels, and performance engineering.

He holds a BSc in Physics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
